billysbones
I am intending to have a shock mount welded onto an ally single sided swinger. I can get the welding done, no problem, but the big question is: Does it need any heat treatment after welding? If so, should be a problem (as I work in a heat treat facility) but to what temperature etc? Any help/advice appreciated* *I'm looking at you speedy sie. laminator
Oh, I need to find out a bit more about a similiar situation. I've got a swngarm needing repair and will require ali welding. I know someone that says he can do it, but is concerned about stressing it.
gixerboy1
It depends on the type of aluminium and filler you are using.
