Lillehammer Hillclimb/drifting

Impressive, but probably no more impressive than a Group B Quattro thirty years ago or Ari Vatenen's Pike's Peak hillclimb in the Peugeot twenty years ago. Does make you pine for the rally cars of old.

Appears to have some sort of traction problem. He might want to look into that. :eusa_think:

Nice. Don't see supra's getting caned very often on the net in vids like this. For more of this sort of thing look up "clash Production" on Youtube, its awesome heaps of motorsport and big tuned cars

Never really got the whole drifting thing. :eusa_think:

Maybe its just me, obviously I can see there's skill involved but what for? A bit too much show, not enough go for me.

Not into the 4 wheel drifting, but is all that smoke from the tires or from a sprayer on the tires? It seems a bit too white for tire smoke.

And is there enough gear to spin the tire for that long?

We used a windshield washer pump and spray nozzles under the rear wheel wells to spray a javex solution on our junker's rear tires to do stop light burnouts to fog out the neighbourhood. This smoke on the video is almost looking the same.

Epic.

There something about big power, turbo, tuned-to-fuck engines being completely and relentlessly caned that stirs something in my loins.

Brill

if you like that you should check out all the gatebil vids...

That looks like a seriously flimsy handbrake... :eusa_think:

i'm not sure if you're joking but its a hydraulic one so it works like a front brake lever on a bike
