alexp5 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Anyone fitting and balancing their own tyres may find this link useful: http://www.pvrdirect.co.uk/productinfo.asp...p;catref=VS1819 £77 discount. Can't be bad.
fran9r Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Thats still fucking expensive. Have you been shopping with your missus lately? Just because it says £70 off dosen't mean it's cheap. Now, if it were a bike I could understand it...
gurninman Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I'll post pics of mine later.... 2 axle stands, 2 x spare wheel bearings and a rear wheel spindle Cost : £5 for the spare bearings
Timbo S2 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 If you have a front stand, then these for half the price look decent... Link Thats what I use, except they wont fit my paddock stand. So I use a lash up, comprising a rear stand, a workbench and cable ratchet straps... Will make a stand to suit one day, out of oak I think...
Pete Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Yep I use the same but my old rear oxford stand with a proper balancer spindle, which I think cost about £25. Only done it a couple of times as I used to get my local man to fit and balance but now I do the balance bit. Pete
