A drawbar and tubes of the right ID and OD would be the simplest way. You'd probably want a lathe to make the tubes on unless you can happen to find some just the right size... I hydraulic press is nice if you have one....

Just the same as the drawbar method but with a hydraulic ram instead of a threaded bar and nuts......... You need to support one part, push the other. Hey presto and they come apart!
