rgvitch Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 This bike was built recently by Matt from TYGA Thailand 70HP+ Great bike, pulls so very strong! RGV250VJ22 is next!!!!
vale Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 i love the the bodykits they do, but i can't stand the size and shape of the headlights. i makes them look like those chinese bikes that have flooded the british market.
Callahan Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 i love the the bodykits they do, but i can't stand the size and shape of the headlights. i makes them look like those chinese bikes that have flooded the british market. This + 1! I think it ruins a really nice fairing.
drunkn munky Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Another +1 on that^ Why havent TYGA cottoned on yet, their bodykits are stunning but the headlights are just shite, its the same across the whiole range they do.
Devon Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 are their fairings a direct replacement or do they require loads of modifications?
jayRC3045 Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 got any dyno print outs for your 300 that you could post
vale Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 are their fairings a direct replacement or do they require loads of modifications? they are a bolt on, the tail piece they do comes with a sub frame. bit pricey though. GET RID OF THE HEAD LIGHTS
morepower Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 I think the headlights are just an easy to source part from the scooters that seem to be the main bikes sold there. Off the shelf and cheap. To get headlights made up to your design is not cheap or easy so he has done the best he can with what is freely available to him. I am not a big fan of the lights either but I think most of us would have done the same if we were there too.
vale Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 i really like the endurance style head, would be a lot lighter than that scooter type crap they got now.
gnarly Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Am with the others about the lights, a single offset projector would look fantastic on that bike.
morepower Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 They still look shite though. I agree but I just understand why they use them.....
rgvitch Posted May 25, 2010 Author Report Posted May 25, 2010 got any dyno print outs for your 300 that you could post Will be going to the dyno again next weekend. Will post the screen shots from dyno read out then. Maybe even a video as well
rgvitch Posted May 25, 2010 Author Report Posted May 25, 2010 Will be going to the dyno again next weekend. Will post the screen shots from dyno read out then. Maybe even a video as well Well it seems that everybody hates the lights with a passion! I quite like them as they are very different looking than the RGV which is being built now.... Anyway, bike has been totally rebuilt, with no expense spared. Nothing has been left to chance.... This is a new bike in an old frame! Worth every penny spent. Wheelies in 1st, 2nd and 3rd just off the powerband... In 5th gear it is off the clock at 180kmh+ In 6th gear it looks like about 220Kmh+

rgvitch Posted May 30, 2010 Author Report Posted May 30, 2010 Impressive stuff, good work, looks like a Peugeot Speedfight from the front - shame, but could be fixed! Point taken.....nobody likes the bloody lights!!!!! Have spoken to TYGA and they say maybe can do another style of bodywork with lights.........will go and have a look soon... still pissed that only negative comments comming my way....... oh well... try again!
Devon Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 do you have any photos of the build? any trick parts that you have fitted, try and get these guys to change their mind
Ray Von Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 Point taken.....nobody likes the bloody lights!!!!! Have spoken to TYGA and they say maybe can do another style of bodywork with lights.........will go and have a look soon... still pissed that only negative comments comming my way....... oh well... try again! I don't think it's too negative, people like the Tyga kit, i've got some Tyga kit on my RGV, they were just pointing out they don't like the headlights, what's wrong with that, i sure they would love to have a 1000 fairing kits flying off the shelf with an endurance style headlight fitted, than a warehouse full of fairing kits no one wants with those scooter style headlights fitted. Thats customers for you though, never right and a bloody pain in the arse, it's a pity you need them to sell gear too.
fredie Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 i love your work . fantastic bike . like the headlights aswell . fuck the haters

rgvitch Posted June 1, 2010 Author Report Posted June 1, 2010 I have spent a small fortune on the bike!!!! Its basically a brand new bike in a 15year old frame..... Same goes for the engine....Its a new engine in a 15year old casing..... 7,000 Euros all in!!!! Have the same budget for the RGV as well..... Am i crazy or what?????? Dont have a video of bike running. If i get a chance i will post it this week...promise
