Rear shock spring rates

Buying a new rear spring to refurb my nc30 monoshock, Anyone clued up on spring rates?

Was looking at the 800lbs/ins 140.3N/mm springs for a rider weight of 12 stone.

Any help appreciated

E mail Chris at K - tec , tell him your weight and what it's for , ie fast road / trackday's etc and he will tell you what you need to know , while your at it ask about front springs as well to match

Use the calculator on Racetech's website.

I used it when I wanted springs for my ER-6 and they're bang on.

Ah forget that, it only has a calculator for fork springs.

800-900 is usual for them, maybe go for 850 if your going on track, I think the standard spring is 700lb
