Conica Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Buying a new rear spring to refurb my nc30 monoshock, Anyone clued up on spring rates? Was looking at the 800lbs/ins 140.3N/mm springs for a rider weight of 12 stone. Any help appreciated

Harvey Mushman Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 Use the calculator on Racetech's website. I used it when I wanted springs for my ER-6 and they're bang on. Ah forget that, it only has a calculator for fork springs.
thefatman Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 800-900 is usual for them, maybe go for 850 if your going on track, I think the standard spring is 700lb
