Cheap parts cleaning fluids

Hi fellas,

got a load of parts I need to clean up, mainly for sale.

Any suggestions on a cheap effective parts cleaning fluid?

A gallon of Parraffin and a paint brush ... although that's probably 4litres now.

Faster results can be obtained by using petrol

Petrol is excellent, I've been told a 50/50 mix of petrol/diesel is better, though.

Clarke parts wash fluid from machine mart works well, in varying dilutions depending on the job in hand.

Even cheaper if you go to one of their VAT free days.

Or JetA1 if you can get it!

petrol works well at cleaning but will fuck up anything with rubber in it and you don't want to be breathing in petrol fumes do you ?. paraffin works ok then wash any of that off with brake cleaner
