Hi Team,

I was putting the carb on my race tuned GP125 (suzuki), and when i turned the gas on fuel sprayed out of both breathers, and everywhere. Now i have pulled the float bowl off, and the float needle isnt jammed, and the floats aren;t in wrong...

Any ideas?

Never mind!

Have put fuel line on fuel bit, instead of oil bit... D'oh!!!!

:eusa_think:

now my bike picks up massive revs on a shut throttle... any ideas?

Is it the standard carb or have you shoved something else in? i had the same prob on an Rd 125 and it was the fact the carb was not level and fuel carried over.

yeah standard carb, 97.5 mainjet, bellmouth smoothed out.

i have spare slide and carb which i'm going to try..

Its behaving alot like it has a blown crank seal

Does it rev up then rev down or is just eratic hig idleing?

it bogs, then at 3'000rpm the revs climb massively quick - I've hit the killswitch both times at 6500. its a new engine, just been ran yesterday - not yet run in.

She is now!! I take it new gaskets and seals were used and the barrel etc. all seated nicely?

might be worth inspecting the carb and makes sure all needles and rubber seat are A1
