madmike Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 I have a lovely hand-me-down retro 1 piece! and I do love it very very much and recently something interesting has come to my attention! My leathers are a near match to my bike! Now, is there any sort of magic pixie dust I can get that will make the redish/pink parts of my leather turn into a more strong or vibrant red, therefore matching my bike? I'm not expecting a miracle and don't think ill get an awesome red, but anything to make the color a bit better? Cheers gents!
lorenzo Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 renapur will do a decent job of sort of rejuvenating them, but if you want to start perking up colours then maybe shoe polish?
tonk Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Red Sharpie marker? No honest, I made some small white bits black on my old leathers and it never faded or looked patchy. It was a moment of silliness which worked a treat. Red, as a colour, is prone to fading so check the permanance of whatever you use, sometimes expressed in letters, eg A, AA, AAA
Evilchicken0 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 In the pics it doesn't look a bad match. You might think about an Orange on the white of the shoulders that would tie them in with the bike a little better
