markw Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 afternoon, what tyre pressures should my k2 run with..? i suppose i could buy a haynes manual but you guys probably know better.. the rear is a 190 is that correct or should it be 180..? and what tryes are the best ones for quick road riding.... cheers in advance mark
morepower Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 190 is what you need to use. Tyre pressures depend on what tyres you use. The tyres you want will depend on what you use the bike for and how hard you ride and what tyre life you want. A pair of tyres which last 8000 miles are then used for trackdays. A pair or super sticky Bridgestone BT003Rs would be no good for a daily commute of 100 miles+ as you would possibly need tyres every month. The question you asked is a bit too general for a 1000cc sports bike. They can be used for track use or touring and would require different tyres.
